working emerson Model 892 hatbox style phonograph
the Black leather case is near mint condition. There are a few areas on the bottom around the rim that show some wear, simply because that’s the way it sits. Hardware on the latches, hinges and handle has a nicely aged patina. Inside is complete and in good condition for its age , however the white surface shows some signs of use with as you can see around the screws and in the back and some light stains. Turntable is in excellent condition. Reversible needle/stylus is in excellent condition as is the needle arm. It functions flawlessly, the single tube amplifier and built in speaker deliver a great warm tone, the tone knob and volume adjustments work good . The speed control to change the turntable speed from 78-45-33-16 RPM works as well.
